We have also addressed great attention to limiting energy consumption, emissions and the use of natural resources while respecting the environment.
To extend the effect of our commitment beyond the local context, we have joined the organization: Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). In fact, we recognize in the ‘Code of Conduct’ of the RSPO a protocol that guarantees respect for the environment in the cultivation and production of palm oil and the fight against deforestation, to promote true environmental and social sustainability.

RSPO includes many environmental associations including the WWF, which was one of its first promoters.
RSPO supports and verifies the protection of the environment, the respect of the social context and the identity of the people in the countries of origin of palm oil. It also checks that the entire supply chain of sustainable palm oil respects precise rules of conduct.
